Delilah Cow
“Hello out there my dears, Miss Dilly here! I hope you are all having a nice time visiting Wigglebottom Farm.
My real name is Delilah Cow but I call myself Miss Dilly because that is what my wonderful grand-mother called me when I was just a little calf. I live on Wigglebottom Farm. I am a very lucky lady. Farmer John never locks me up and I am free to roam around the farm wherever I wish. Sometimes I like to munch on the juicy grass in the bottom meadow and sometimes I spend my day in the farmyard chatting to all of my friends, especially young Penny Pig.
My family has been on the farm over 100 years! Can you image in that! My job on the farm is to provide the milk for Farm John and the Farmer’s Wife. Everyday Farmer John comes to find me before he goes off to do his work in the field. I remember the days when Farmer John was a little boy and he would ride around the farmyard on my back.
I have one really big dream and it is that everyone in the world could have their dreams come true. Dreams are nice to have and they give us hope. If we remember our dreams whenever we are sad we can make ourselves happy again.
I like to look after all my friends here on Wigglebottom Farm and make sure that they do not get into any trouble, especially Jack and Spike, Och they are a mischievous pair of little boys. My favourite food is, well, not grass as you may think, no, its rhubarb! Och, I love it!
I want to sing you a little song that has a very important message in it. Be sure to listen to it carefully.”
I have been on the farm from the past until now.
I help people learn what is right and what’s wrong.
It is very important that we all get along!”
“Bye bye!”
