Emily Duck

"Hello everyone! My name is Emily Duck and I live on my lovely little island in the middle of the pond. I come from a long line of royal ducks. I haven’t always lived here on Wigglebottom Farm. I was born over the hill on Wiggletop Farm and my sister, Jennifer, still lives there. I visit her every single day.

My best friend is Bernard. He often comes over for a chat. He likes to sit on the roof of my house and we talk. He is very clever, and charming. I suppose we are best friends because we have so many things in common. Sometimes we fly around the farm checking that everything is alright.

My dream is that one day a handsome price duck will come to Wigglebottom Farm and ask me to marry him. I am always looking out, high in the sky, waiting for him to arrive. I see lots of ducks flying over but they never seem to stop here.

I love to go swimming every morning and then dry my beautiful feathers in the sun. It is very important, if you want to marry a prince, that you make sure you always look pretty.

My favourite food is a lovely cup of tea and some biscuits. Home made biscuits are the best. I also like cream cakes and scones.
