Harper Frog

“Hello, hello, hello! I am Harper Frog and I live on the stones by the pond on Wigglebottom Farm. I am here to tell you a little bit about myself so here goes. Some people say I am a little bit crazy but that is simply not true. Yes, I get excited from time to time and yes I do tend to jump up and down a little, but crazy! Not me, no, no, no.

I like living here on Wigglebottom farm, it a lovely place. I have lots of friends and we have a great time together. My best friend is good old Bonaparte. Jolly wonderful chap is Bonaparte. He can be a little grumpy at times but he doesn’t mean to be. It is just the way he is. He has promised to help me to build a boat one day so I can sail of into the sunset on a marvelous adventure.

I come from a long line of very famous frogs. My great-grandfather, grandfather and father were all called Philleus. I am not too sure why they decided to call me Harper? My dream is to be a famous adventuring frog. One day I will sail away on my beautiful boat. I shall sail across the pond, down the stream and over the big blue sea. I shall discover amazing things and go on fantastic adventures. When I come back I shall tell all my friends of the wonderful things I have seen and the people I have met. I want to see the dinosaurs that Bernard talks about. He read about them in one of his books. Dinosaurs from France! Ha ha!

People say that I have a habit of saying things three times but no, no, no, that’s not true. My favourite food is cheese. I like to eat round cheese, square cheese, red cheese, yellow cheese, all types of cheese. Cheese, cheese, cheese…if you please!
