Jack Fox
“’Ello boys and girls. My name is Jack Fox. I don’t actually live on Wigglebottom Farm, although I wish I did (laugh). I live in Wiggleton a few miles away. I don’t really like it there because most of the people shout at me and they are always chasing me away. I come to the farm as often as I can. Everyone here is really friendly, even Farmer John and the Farmer’s Wife.
Spike is my best friend. We have lots of fun in the woods. We like to play hide and seek, although Spike is not that good at it. He can’t stop giggling when he is hiding so it is easy for me to find him.
When I first came to Wigglebottom Farm I don’t think Farmer John liked me that much but after a while he saw that I was not a naughty fox. Now he leaves me bits of food to eat. I spend as much of my time here as I can, when I am not at school. My dream is to come and live here when I am old enough so I can spend all my time with my friends.
I like going on adventures and making fantastic dens deep in the woods. My favourite food is pie, especially the lovely ones the Farmer’s Wife makes. Well, she does keep leaving them on the windowsill. What’s fox suppose to do when he see a lovely pie?
Here is a little song I made up while I was wondering through Wigglewood this morning.”
Some people will say that mischief is my game.
I am not really naughty, just a bit of a lad.
I can tell you some stories of adventures I’ve had.”
