Early Years Entertainment Limited (EYE) is delighted to introduce the world’s first ever fully interactive DVD storybook for little ones aged 3 to 6 years!
The storybook series is based on the lives of friendly fun loving farm animals on Wigglebottom Farm and is designed to engage and delight little ones across the country. The six fully interactive games in each hour-long story encourage learning but still provide endless fun!
Written and designed by parents for parents to enjoy with their children, these charming stories include key elements of the National Curriculum. They encourage early learning skills such as matching, sorting, colour, letter and number recognition. Children will also learn some of the important social skills they will face growing up, including the importance of friendship, how to deal with being left out and being bullied.
A friendly voice over narration takes children through each beautifully drawn, brightly coloured scene featuring characters such as the eccentric Harper Frog, the motherly Delilah Cow and the wise Bernard Owl. All of the animals on the farm have strong personalities to capture children’s imaginations.
The first DVD in the series is ‘Penny’s Birthday Party’, the tale of how Penny Pig is sad because she is not having a party. Her friends, the other animals on the farm, helped by the viewer, all complete various party tasks to throw a fantastic party for Penny.
Using new DVD Extra technology, all the titles in the Wigglebottom Farm series have three modes of play, Fully Interact – where the full story and the interactive tasks can be experienced, Play – which takes children straight to the games and Watch – where the child sits back and watches the story unfold.
